News about the pandemic is everywhere; radio, television, and most especially social media. It can get overwhelming. I sometimes get anxious because I am worried that my son, who is in vulnerable health condition, or my parents might catch the virus. At times I want to tune out everything about covid-19, even just for a day. But because of those people that I am deeply worried about, I know it is not wise to do that at this point.
This is why I keep reminding myself to be selective of what I read. If it is an information about the virus, it must come from reliable and authorized sources. On social media, I dwell on posts that gives inspiration and spreads positive energy. What I feed my eyes and mind will affect my behaviour and thinking so I try to make it more uplifting.
