I have always been fond of fruits most especially during my pregnancy. Not only is it nutritious with its loads of vitamins and minerals, it also became my pal during the first trimester when my morning (all-day!) sickness was at its worst and I could not eat almost everything.
Do you find fruits boring? Well, here are some interesting facts about your fruits:
Bananas between meals help ease morning sickness.

Do not peel your apple. Two–thirds of the fiber and lots of antioxidants are found in the peel. Antioxidants help to reduce damage to cells, which can trigger some diseases.
The peach is 87% water and has far fewer calories than fruit like apples and pears.
Strawberries and cashews are the only fruits that have their seeds on the outside unlike all other fruits which have their seeds inside.
Oranges contain antioxidants that help fight the free radicals that damage and age our skin.
Including fruits in one’s daily diet can lessen the chances of miscarriage by almost half of the frequency, says a new research in London.
You can speed up the ripening of a pineapple by standing it upside down (on the leafy end).
Apples are fat, sodium, and cholesterol free.
Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.
Lemons can kill bacteria-as they have high content of acid which makes them suitable for cleaning
Dried fruits contain more calories than fresh fruits. Since drying process takes out water and volume.
Eggplants are actually fruits, and classified botanically as berries.

Strawberries are not actually berries. They are part of the
Rose family (fragaria) –together with apples and plums.
